British Rail Mk1 Coaches
My aim was to bolster my collection of RTC coaches, whilst also creating a coach that holds up to and does not look out of place alongside a "Blue Riband" Graham Farish by Bachmann RTR Mk1 coach.
Each of my coach kits include the following components:
- Single piece 3D printed bodyshell
- Push-fit chassis with a suitable interior layout
- Bogies (options as applicable) - at the moment I have the following bogie options available:
- Gresley
- B1
- B5
- BT10
- Commonwealth Bogies
- 4x oval buffers
- Glazing
I wanted to produce coaches that are not available as ready to run items, and the coaches I have produced are as follows:

Finishing off your models
Electra Rail (formerly Electra Railway Graphics) produce a wide range of vinyl overlays in both the original and revised APT livery, and also in some fictitious liveries including RTC red/blue, Virgin Trains red/black and GNER blue/red - to purchase the APT with included vinyls please visit the Electra Rail website at www.electrarail.co.uk for more information.
For those wishing to paint finish their models, waterslide transfers produced by RailTec Transfers are available for your APT-P kit for £6 a sheet.
Many of my other vehicles also have transfers available from RailTec Transfers, and, where known, these are detailed on individual model pages.
